Review: Touches of Grace: Philanthropy and Social Involvement in Israel
Touches of Grace: Philanthropy and Social Involvement in Israel by Haim Dahan
My rating: 3 of 5 stars
Haim Dahan is an entrepreneur. This book gives detailed background and details of philanthropy in Israel.
As per him Israel wealth distribution is highly unequal. Though government has social service programs these are not adequate.
Then voluntary donation comes into picture. Philanthropy is imperative for a just fair and equitable society.
Though book becomes boring at places due to dull nature of subject and many charts and tables, the underlying message is excellent.
